Do you need to speak with someone concerning a practice related issue?
The Risk Management team offers a 24-hour emergency risk management hotline for our insured psychiatrists with direct and immediate access to risk management information when the need arises, even beyond traditional business hours. This toll-free hotline is dedicated solely to Allied World’s insured psychiatrists and is provided at no cost. The hotline is staffed during business hours but is available through the hotline number 24/7 should an emergency issue arise. Psychiatrists have accessed the hotline after hours on many occasions for a variety of emergency issues, including imminent duty to warn issues.

Complimentary Risk Management webinars on current healthcare topics are offered to insureds. Invitations are sent via email about four times each policy year.
Attending the live presentation of an Allied World Risk Management webinar will count as one premium AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ towards the three hours needed with valid certificate of completion (except in New York). These credits also qualify for one-hour credit towards the three hours required to receive a risk management discount of 5% off your professional liability policy. Recorded playbacks do not apply toward the credit.

“In Session” is a quarterly newsletter designed to address legal and risk related issues that are critical to psychiatrists. Each issue also includes Legal Updates so that insureds are aware of recent legislative news and legal exposures that can impact their practice.
